This payphone is located besides Albert Hall, next to the City Park, on the Southern side of Cimitiere Street hiding in between two trees.
Pedestrian and public transport access
The payphone can be accessed a moderate walk way from the Launceston interchange, serviced by Metro Tasmania, located on St John Street and York Street. The Launceston Regional Transit Centre is also located on St John Street. Most bus routes stop at these interchanges allowing lots of flexibility, however route 120 and 121 service the payphone directly.
Bicycle access
The phone is near the Eslpanade Trail which runs alongside the North Esk River, though Central Launceston itself does not have any cycling infrastructure. While the area is mostly flat, the infrastructure is car-centric and not designed with cycling in mind. Watch for driveways and busy traffic when cycling in this area.
Automobile access
